A. Bergere 'Solera' Blanc de Blancs Brut Champagne NV
Adrien Bergère’s Solera is a bright, elegant grower Champagne that's all about style and substance. Crafted from 100% Chardonnay sourced from limestone-rich plots in the Vallée du Petit Morin—villages like Fèrebrianges, Étoges, and Congy—it’s blend balances freshness with complexity by marrying half current vintage (2021) with half from a perpetual reserve that started in 2013.
Around 50% of the cuvée ages in 228-liter oak barrels, adding a creamy, textured backbone. Dosage is modest at 3 g/L, while the rest is tank-aged on lees, delivering fine bubbles and crisp acidity. The nose is generous and floral, with notes of white peach and nectarine, and the palate is velvety, framed by floral, stone-fruit richness.
You can enjoy this Champagne now or lay it down for 5–10 years. It pairs beautifully with oysters, shellfish, grilled fish, or simply as a light aperitif. Pure age-worthy elegance—mineral, creamy, and surprisingly accessible.
