Domaine Saint-Jacques 'Marissou Blanc' Rully 1er Cru 2021

$52.00

This impressive white Burgundy comes from a south/southeast-facing premier-cru parcel of 40-year-old vines farmed with careful, low-impact viticulture. The soils are weeded mechanically, nourished with organic compost, and yields are kept in check through early debudding, high trimming, and manual leaf-pulling — all setting the stage for concentrated, expressive Chardonnay.

The grapes are hand harvested and vinified traditionally, with the wine aging 15–20 months 50% in used French oak, for nuance and texture. The result is a refined, luminous Rully 1er Cru with lively citrus and orchard-fruit notes, balanced by gentle oak and a clean mineral line.

Pairs with seared scallops (Saint-Jacques with Saint-Jacques!), fish in lemon butter, or soft, tangy goat cheeses.
