Frichette 'Estate Grown' Cabernet Sauvignon Red Mountain 2023

$60.00

This classic Washington State Cabernet from husband & wife Greg and Shae Frichette has roots in the rugged and rocky soils of the Red Mountain AVA. This windy, sunny and desert-like part of the Yakima valley is known for producing bold, rich reds.

In the cellar, the estate grapes are fermented and then aged in oak barrels, adding structure and subtle spice without overpowering the primary fruit characteristics. The result is a Bordeaux-style red that’s both generous and structured.

In the glass you’ll find ripe dark fruit — black cherry, blackcurrant, and plum — joined by savory notes of cedar, baking spice, and a hint of tobacco. It is medium-to-full bodied with firm, refined tannins and balanced acidity.

Pair with grilled steak, braised short ribs, or hearty mushroom dishes.
