Givaudin, Pinot Noir, Bergere, Irancy 2022
A beautiful red made from one of the last few affordable-ish corners of Burgundy!
Irancy is close to Chablis in the very north and has very similar Kimmeridgian soil type. The Lieux-Dit La Bergère is a single mid-slope south-facing parcel, with rocky, chalky limestone soils. In other words, Pinot Noir heaven.
The perfect balance of power and elegance, with red fruits and a lovely floral component. Pair with grilled duck magret and a fruit coulis!
