Longavi 'Glup' Naranjo Moscatel Itata Chile 2024

$24.00

Chilean winemaker Julio Bouchon makes this expressive orange wine from 60-year-old bush-vined and dry-farmed Moscatel (or Muscat) grapes planted on the granitic soils of the Itata Valley.

The hand-picked fruit is fermented with skins in concrete tanks for six months, followed by an additional four months of aging in old French barrels—using native yeasts, zero filtration, and minimal intervention.

In the glass: vibrant yellow with golden edges, offering layered aromas of white flowers, warm spice, and ripe orchard fruit. The body is generous, richly textured, yet balanced with low alcohol and high acidity.

Serve it slightly chilled with grilled octopus, citrus-dressed seafood, herb-rich salads, or goat cheese.
