Siete Fincas 'Secreto' Malbec Reserva Mendoza 2020
The ‘Secreto’ Malbec comes from the high-altitude vineyards of Tupungato in Argentina’s Valle de Uco, 1,100 meters above sea level. The region’s dry climate, cool nights, and generous sunshine give this Malbec its deep color, firm structure, and ripe, balanced fruit. Hand-harvested from 23-year-old vines growing in alluvial, sandy, and stony soils, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel before spending 12 months in French oak barrels, followed by another year in bottle.
The result is a rich, elegant red with aromas of blackberry, plum, and chocolate, supported by supple tannins and a smooth, lingering finish.
Serve with roasted meats, hearty pastas, or slow-cooked stews.
